Happy Father’s Day Dad !!!

We celebrated Father’s Day on Saturday 6/20/2009.  Bev, Bob, and Lando all came over and brought a wonderful lunch.  I picked up Mom at Grannies Place so we could all celebrate Dad’s special day.

Bev prepared shrimp cocktail and  a wonderful Maurice salad along with bread and chocolate eclairs for dessert especially for Dad.  This was a special salad that all of us had enjoyed from our days in Detroit.  J L Hudson’s dinning room was famous for it in Detroit.  Our whole family enjoyed it very much.  It brought back old memories of Detroit.

Bob was gracious enough to take our family picture.

It was a very nice day and Dad seemed pleased with his new books.  He will have plenty of reading material to keep him busy.  We all had and very enjoyable day.
