Since I was there for at least 2 days I did quite a bit of hiking in the area. I am starting to get my hiking legs accustomed to more then walking around the block.
This last picture I took for Bob. This is the Camp Nelson Water Company. It doesn’t look very busy.
This area was especially nice because there were also two other National Park campgrounds as well. The first was about 2 miles from Camp Nelson and it was called Belknap campgrounds. It was located in a giant sequoia grove and there were many giant trees in it. I talked with the camp host there trying to get a spot but everything was well reserved several weeks out. It was a very popular site.
